To deepen educational and technological cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and promote innovation in global food science and nutritional health, the School of Food Science and Technology at Jiangnan University, in collaboration with BRUA-FSE, will host the 5th International Student Summer School from July 12th to 25th, 2026. Under the theme "Future Food Science and Technological Innovation". The program aims to systematically teach core concepts and development trends in the field of future food, covering cutting-edge areas such as alternative proteins, functional ingredients, and intelligent food manufacturing. It aims to help students gain an in-depth understanding of the practical applications of food technology and its interdisciplinary integration.

III. Program Highlights
Academic Frontiers: Covers alternative proteins, functional ingredients, and intelligent food manufacturing, Intelligent and Traceability Technology in Food Supply Chain, Chinese Dietary Wisdom, and case studies.
Cultural Integration: Features courses on Chinese dietary culture, and intangible cultural heritage handicraft experiences(e.g., Chinese Knot Making).
Industry Engagement: Visits to leading companies (e.g., Shazhouyouhuang Shaoxing Wine Company, Anjoy) to explore food industry trends.

V. Additional Information
Mentorship: Experienced professors and educators will guide participants based on their academic backgrounds.
Fees: Tuition, accommodation, equipment, visits, and insurance are covered by the host. Participants bear travel, meals (¥40/person/day) and other personal fees.
Certification: all completing the program will earn a certificate.
